Chinook Aviation received full Transport Canada and FAA STC’s with no speed restrictions for this modification.

Our window in the belly panel extends 9" aft and 2" inboard of the standard Eurocopter or Dart window. The fwd belly panel is modified in such a way, that it still can be removed without a screwdriver. Our modification also adds a large floor level window with provisions for an optional torque gauge. This window is approximately 2" wider and 3" longer than a standard floor level window.

On aircraft with landing lights in the belly, we relocate the R/H landing light, which helps reduce the glare in the mirror.

The belly panels require 10 days to be modified in our facility, however we have a set of loaner panels to keep you flying. The modification to the floor of the aircraft takes only 1 day and can be done at any facility.
